This weekend we’re taking a walk down memory lane, so to speak. In part three of our three-week series on Thriving Through Change, we’ll look at how remembering well helps us to move forward into whatever God has for us with confidence and hope.

I’ve never really liked looking for Waldo. I have to squint at really tiny pictures and I can’t ever seem to actually locate the guy who seems to have nothing more to do than roam around the world trying to stay hidden from me. Please don’t buy me a Where’s Waldo? book…ever!Sometimes when we struggle with change, challenges, and other faith-stretching experiences, it feels like Jesus is just as hard to find. Since He is the source of our hope we need to know how to find Him on our journey. This week we will discover three ways he meets us in these moments.

June 3 & 4, 2017 This is God’s ChurchActs 20:28
The Book of Acts documents how Christianity began to spread through the world shortly after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It shows us that history isn’t boring at all, but exciting and motivating! One of the most meaningful accounts is in chapter 20. It’s the Apostle Paul’s emotional farewell address to the Ephesian elders. As their former pastor, Paul shared some last words of encouragement and exhortation. We will see four practical principles in 20:28, the last of which emphasizes that the church is not built around any individual leader; it is God’s church! This lesson is ideal for us this weekend, as it is my last sermon at Dayspring. -Pastor Larry
